Doug Keith’s background in commercial art and graphic design inspired a desire to create illustrated alphabets. The challenge of using letter shapes and telling a story are crucial to his work, as well as a sense of humor! From all stars to zombies, Doug’s whimsical alphabets are colorful and fun.

Born in New England, Doug’s life journey lead to New Jersey where he attended art school and then on to a career in commercial art and design. He eventually headed west to Seattle, Washington, started his own art studio and continues to pursue a variety of interests including illustrating picture books, sculpting whimsical characters for yard art, fine art and working part time in a museum.
