Farkas, Robert
Robert Farkas is a digital artist currently based out of Budapest, Hungary. As a child he would regularly draw and at an early age he began to practice graphic design eventually using design tools like Flash and Dreamweaver in an autodidact way. After becoming a freelance graphic designer he went to work for the Hungarian branch of Carnation Group as an Art Director, leading a small design team where he was involved in projects like the campaigns of Telenor Hungary, LG, Djuice Hungary.
Later Robert joined Dogfish Studio and learned to create television graphics; also in live programs working on designing the face and decoration of several programs in the main Hungarian television channels. Robert enjoys combining the different aspects of visual appearance that he knows from 2D and 3D animation. Robert says, “I reveal the mysteries of nature through a mix of illustration and watercolor.” In 2011 he began designing t-shirts as a freelancer. Robert currently works throughout the weekdays as a broadcast animator and a web designer. He spends his free time working on his personal projects saying, “Making artworks spices up my everyday life.” Combining his talent for painting with watercolors with digital manipulation, Robert has created a diverse portfolio filled with an ample amount of one-of-a-kind works.
