Jon Guido Bertelli was born in Florence, Italy and academically trained in Florence as well as Oslo, Norway.

He has also lived in Copenhagen, Denmark, Montreal and Toronto, Canada, San Francisco and Portland, U.S.A. as well as in Mexico City, Mexico. With a multicultural background Jon speaks several languages and feels at home anywhere in the world, easily relating to other cultures and customs.

His commercial work has appeared in numerous national and international publications, and his list of commercial clients includes, Nissan, Honda, Suzuki, Isuzu, IBM, Toshiba, Motorola, Bell Cellular, Coleman, Samsonite, Budweiser, Coors, Molson and Labatt’s, Wines and foods of France, Glenlivet, Gilbey’s, Heinz, University of California, Oregon Health & Science University, and the Italian and French Trade Commissions.

His art prints / posters are international best sellers; with “Curiosity” the playful photograph of a black kitten peeking into the frame topping the chart.  Creating new images of animals has become one of his passions, portraying their beauty and soul through his lens with simplicity and a sense of humor.

Jon has won recognition for his work winning awards in the U.S.A., Canada and in Europe.  Today he spends time in Mexico and uses his camera to tell a story, to share culture and to show the beauty that lives around him.
